Luz Del Sol New Properties, opened in 1999 after the Directors personal disappointing experience whilst purchasing a property in Spain. The company was formed by them vowing to treat the customers how they would like to be treated themselves, thus taking the stress out of and improving the purchasing experience of buying a property abroad. The association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) exists for one reason and one reason alone: to improve standards of professionalism in the international property market. PARAMOUNT INSIDE INFORMATION

Luz del Sol have been reliably informed that Paramount are to start construction of their Theme Park and LifeStyle Centre in October 2013 with a completion date of 2016.

PHARMACY NOW OPEN ON CAMPOSOL SECTOR A

A new Pharmacy has recently opening on Camposol Sector A providing an essential service for Camposol and local Residents.

The Pharmacy is located at the front of the Business Centre on Sector A, just down the road from Luz del Sol´s Office and a 2 minute walk from the Medical Centre. They speak English and are very polite, efficient and extremely helpful.

THE BIGGEST RAINFALL IN MURCIA EVER RECORDED!

As you have all read and seen various video´s on the amount of rainfall that fell in the Murcia region on Friday 28th September 2012, it is the biggest ever recorded.

The day after the region had total sunshine and all the water had gone.

There was no damage reported to any properties on Camposol, however the bridge has been temporarily closed until an inspection has been carried out.

In the meantime a new road has been formed giving rear access to the urbanization that leads from El Pareton and Mazarron.

Consisting of:-

N.I.E´s (Spanish National Insurance Number – legal requirement). Preparation of paperwork for the Foreign Office and personal es**rt and translation services to the Foreign Office.
Collection of N.I.E. certificates when ready
Assistance in opening a Spanish bank account (legal requirement).
Checking property register, Land registry, tax office, Electricity and Water
Preparing the title deeds for the notary
Making the contracts with the utility companies
Finding the best and cheapest house insurance
Making a 3% retention on your purchase (where applicable) from the vendor.
Signing the title deeds at the public notary
Collect the title deeds from the public notary and presenting it to the property register/Land registry/Tax office
Offering services for a Spanish Will (legal requirement, at an additional cost)

A FEW SHORT MONTHS BEFORE CORVERA AIRPORT OPENS…..

As has been reported in the Leader Newspaper this week, The President of the Regional Government, Ramon Luis Valcarcel, has confirmed that Corvera Airport will begin to function very soon, “just a few short months as the infrastructure is now completed”.

During a radio interview The President commented “within no time at all they will be calibrating several flights and when that occurs that will be the moment when we will be able to say this is when the airlines can land and take off from this Airport, which will give us a clear opening date for the International Airport”.

With regard to the closure of San Javier Airport in Murcia, The President said “we have been negotiating with AENA for over 8 years regarding the running of the new airport and the closure of the civil part of San Javier Airport and it is only just now that we are actually getting anywhere with these negotiations, the airport in San Javier has at least 1.5 million passengers that use it per year which will automatically pass to the new airport at Corvera”.

The addition of Corvera as an international airport will elevate the region further, opening it up to countries beyond Europe. While Murcia is already well served by airports at San Javier and Alicante, the new Corvera airport will consolidate Murcia as one of the most accessible regions in Europe. It will greatly assist investment opportunities for Paramount Pictures who are building a theme park and film studios in the region of Alhama de Murcia. Murcia already has the highest growth rate of tourist visitors in Spain.
