💌 Message from Susanne Terés 💌

Dear Clients and Friends, I am writing this to you today to let you know about important changes with Mijas Properties and my “Proper Retirement”.

I first came to Mijas Pueblo from London in 1984 with my mother, Connie, and my daughter, Amy, who was just 4 years old. I fell in love with this place as many of you all have also!

To cut a long story short, I started the real estate business back then with Daniel and thoroughly enjoyed my new life in Mijas. Amy went to an International school, and my parents with my aunt and uncle bought holiday homes here. Amy´s father, Derek, who designed our logo, was a frequent visitor, as were all of our Family. That´s what happens when you move to such a Beautiful place !
We sold and rented many properties over the years and met so many lovely, interesting people and wonderful homes.

I took over the business on my own in 2002 and my Scottish partner, Ian, who I later married, began working with me.
I have to thank the many wonderful people that worked at Mijas Properties over the years, too many to mention including my daughter Amy, you will all have your favourites!

One of those people, Juliette McCarthy, who is one of my best friends, has now purchased the office from me and will continue in her own name with her brilliant son, Joe, working alongside her.
We have every confidence in Juliette and Joe, and know that they will provide an honest, friendly and professional service to you all.
They will be in touch with you directly very soon.

Ian and I are planning to have a bit more leisure time now, although he will continue to look after various properties in Mijas with management.

Thank you all for your support during these last 42 years and we wish you all the very best for the future. We also wish Juliette the best of luck and we will still be seeing you around the village as this is our home!

From 21–26 February and 1 March, La Cala de Mijas becomes a global stage with the international Estrellas de Iberia festival.

400 dancers and musicians.
