Looking back through photos from 2025, I realised that these memories were never only ours to hold.
Tessie and Tom spent a lot of time with their mum throughout 2025, long before her cancer diagnosis in November. They shared ordinary days, made memories, and were lucky to all be together in Spain for Christmas. Looking back now, it feels especially precious that they had that time together and that, when the time came in March, they were able to say goodbye properly.
Mrs P loved her children deeply and they loved their mum just as much. No matter how old we all get, that bond never changes.
I know Tessie and Tom are each finding their own way through losing their mum, and there is no right way to do that. But one thing I want them both to always know is this:
You are always welcome here. This will always be your home too. You will always be part of my little family.
This is Mrs P’s legacy. She held a special place in so many people’s hearts, and because of that, you do too. Together, Tom and Tessie are part of that love she created and the place she holds in people’s hearts.
Love never really leaves us — it just changes shape and becomes the memories we carry forward ❤️
