On our way to a local Spanish market today, we spotted this good boy casually standing right on top of a roof. Naturally, we panicked. We stopped the car and knocked on the door, fully prepared to launch a dramatic rescue mission to save him from a total disaster. 🦸‍♀️🚑

The door opens, and a lovely Spanish lady looks at us, completely unfazed, and says… "Oh, don't worry, that’s just his usual spot!" 🤷‍♀️ Real story.

Apparently, this loyal companion climbs up there every single day the moment his owner leaves for work, just to get a premium view and wait for his return.

Here are the essentials for your Spanish life:

1. VALE The ultimate king of Spanish words. It means "okay," "alright," "I understand," "sure," or even "stop talking, I get it." Use it once, twice, or three times in a row for maximum effect.
See you at 8? Vale, vale!

2. VENGA
Literally means "come on," but it’s used for everything: to encourage someone, to hurry them up, or to say goodbye on the phone ("Venga, ciao!"). It’s the verbal fuel of Spain.

3. FÍJATE
