📱 It folds in half. So does its value.
Apple just launched the iPhone Duo. It folds, it has two screens, and the 256GB model costs €2,339 in Spain.
Let's see how that works out as an investment.
📱 iPhone Duo
💶 You pay: €2,339
📉 After 12 months: the iPhone 16 lost about 45% of its value in its first year
🔋 Returns: a lot of notifications
📦 Pre-orders open 16 October. Try not to camp outside the shop.
🏡 New-build apartment in Spain
💶 Price: a bit more than €2,339 (we checked)
📈 Last 12 months: new builds in Spain went up 7.4% (INE, Q2 2026)
☀️ Returns: 300 days of sun, a terrace and a pool
📦 Delivery: keys, not a charging cable
The maths 🤓
On a €200,000 apartment, 7.4% is about €14,800 in a single year.
That's enough for six iPhone Duos. 😅
To be fair to Apple, both have two of something. The Duo has two screens. Our apartments have two bedrooms. 🛏️🛏️
