The pinewalk area of Puerto Pollensa has some really pretty little beaches dotted along it. The beaches are all quite small but very beautiful a lot of them offering shade under the pine trees. There are both a mixture of sandy and rocky beaches and the water is often very calm and still because of it being very well sheltered from the waves of the rest of Pollensa bay and the open sea.

Rock Villa is a beautiful Villa which has been built into the side of the mountain at the top of the La Font area of Pollença, boasting one of the most impressive views where you can see all around you for miles and miles.
During the summer months this really is a fantastic villa but it is not only when it is hot that this villa is perfect, but also during the colder months, with central heating and double glazing all throughout the house as well as the heated swimming pool and hot tub on the roof all of these making Rock Villa very appealing for holidays during winter and the colder time of year.

This weekend it was the Sabors De Badia (Flavours of the bay) Festival in Puerto Pollensa. This was a celebration of all the fish and seafood that comes from the Pollensa bay especially the Tuna. There were food trucks and stalls as well as many displays all to do with the produce from the bay.

Number 11 is just a few minutes´ walk to the heart of the main square in Pollensa with its wonderful bars, restaurants, and bustling Sunday market. The beautiful hotel Sant Jordi is just round the corner and offers a lovely setting for outside dining and drinks.
The highlight of the house is the clever use of outside space. Built into a rock face over three floors, guests can enjoy a relaxing seating area with sofa, a covered dining terrace and a sun deck with loungers. On the top deck, there is a fabulous glass-fronted swimming pool with exceptional views of the pretty terracotta rooftops and the surrounding countryside.

A lot of the beaches and coves are amazing to go snorkeling at, you can see some amazing fish and sea creatures. Its quite often the smaller rocky beaches that are the best to explore.

Casa Hill is a beautiful townhouse located moments from the famous Calvario steps in the heart of Pollensa Town.
Professionally interior designed, the furnishing and finishing touches are a joy. Such a great use of Mediterranean colours and fabrics.
The cherry on the cake is the outside space.
At the top of the house there is a large dining terrace (with a BBQ) that catches the delightful morning sun. A wrought iron staircase takes you to a glorious sun-drenched roof-terrace with breathtaking views across the entire village and the Puig de Maria.
Here you can enjoy the hot tub (can also be lit up at night!) and soak up the rays on sun loungers. There are few better places to unwind.

Formentor lighthouse sits at the very end of the Formentor peninsular which is also the most Nothern point of Mallorca. The views out to sea are increadible as the lighthouse sits over 200 meters above sea level, it is one many amazing places to watch the sunrise and sunset from.
The road to get to the lighthouse is almost as impressive and very popular with cyclists, with the hairpin bends and climbs and the descents through the forrests making it quite the challenge but also very rewarding once you get all the way to the lighthouse.

The Puerto Pollensa sea plane can often be seen flying around the Pollensa area. It is part of the military and in the hotter summer months it is used to help fight forest fires all over the island. The plane takes of and lands on the water of Pollensa bay, it scoops up water from the sea which is then used to put out fires.
