The Property Transfer Tax (ITP – Impuesto de Transmisiones Patrimoniales) will decrease from 10% to 9% in the Valencian Community 📉

This tax applies when purchasing resale properties, meaning homes that have previously been owned. For buyers, this change means lower purchase costs when acquiring a property in the region.

Although a 1% reduction may seem small, it can represent significant savings depending on the property price. For example:
A property purchased for €200,000 would previously have incurred €20,000 in ITP.
With the new rate, the tax will be €18,000, saving the buyer €2,000.

For higher-value properties, the savings can be several thousand euros, making this a positive development for anyone considering purchasing a home in the Valencian Community.
