Saturday Suggestion…Eat Back to Front

We ate at Naal last night and it was such a lovely meal. My suggestion is to start with dessert because frankly their chocolate churro with miso ice cream is out of this world! So make sure you leave space for it!

Basically we ate like Kings and the bill was pretty decent per head given the wine we drank and the number of courses and dishes we tried. Approx €60/head for the full works.

It’s so nice that Torreguadiaro has another dining experience at a high gastronomic level.

We’re not the gastronomic route of San Roque for nothing!

The Kidnapping of Mélodie Nakachian (1987)

The Victim: Mélodie Nakachian was a 5-year-old girl born to a multi-millionaire Lebanese businessman (Raymond Nakachian) and a famous Korean-American singer (Kimera). The ultra-wealthy family lived in a luxury villa on the Costa del Sol.

The Disappearance: On November 9, 1987, Mélodie was abducted on her way to school in Estepona by an armed gang of French criminals who blocked her school bus. She effectively "disappeared" for 11 grueling days, gripping the entire nation of Spain and making front-page global news.

The Torreguadiaro Hideout: The kidnappers demanded a ransom of $13 million. While negotiations were underway, they hid the little girl inside a non-descript beach apartment in Torreguadiaro.

The Dramatic Rescue: The Spanish police tracked a wallet dropped by one of the kidnappers, which eventually led them straight to Torreguadiaro. Spain's elite special forces (GEO) launched a high-stakes, heavily armed raid on the Torreguadiaro apartment. Gunfire broke out, one kidnapper was shot and wounded, and Mélodie was successfully rescued unharmed.

Wednesday´s New...Anyone know why Las Mesas went nuts? 🤔

Because its modern, in the City of Estepona (so you can walk places), and...Estepona itself went on a huge charge. And I dont see it stopping anytime soon.

What makes me think that? When I read posts on groups like "American Expats Retiring to Spain" I read posts like: "We´re selling up in the US and moving to Spain, our top choices are Sitges, ESTEPONA, Cadiz, Javea, and Altea"

Do you know how machine learning algorithms work? When searches are made they record that and offer it in future search results...and so you get the compounding of the results.

For me, this new development in Estepona looks interesting. Not only is it centrally located, you can walk to things, and has that Modern/Cool vibe.

Why? All value is relative. There is no coincidence last week I did a viewing with a Canadian based in HK, we have Americans reaching out, and we´ve sold to a few Aussies.
