Meet Roxy Rosario.

Born in Curacao, based in Mallorca, at home on any stage in the world. In 2015 she stepped onto La Voz Espana and turned three coaches around in seconds. Alejandro Sanz picked her for his team, then Malu took her all the way to the semifinals. Since then she has shared the stage with names like Ricky Martin and Malu, and lent her voice to the legendary Amnesia in Ibiza.

Soul, Motown, funk, R&B, a little jazz and a lot of heart. That is the sound she brings.

And the best part: she plays regularly at Sa Cova Bar in Santanyi.

The windows of Mallorca are the soul of the island.

Stand in front of one and the wall falls away. A pointed arch frames an olive grove and the mountains behind it. Gothic stone lace at the Llotja in Palma turns palm trees into a painting, and when the afternoon sun comes through, it spills colour across the floor like quiet stained glass.

Some frame the sea through a tangle of bamboo. Some hold an old wrought-iron grille and a soft curtain that moves with the air. None of them are just windows. They're little pauses - a way the island has of saying, look, this is what's out here, this is what's worth slowing down for.

We started photographing them almost by accident. Now we can't stop. Every village, every old finca, every staircase in Palma hides another one.

Crew tip: next time you're somewhere old and beautiful on the island, turn away from the view for a second - and look at the frame around it. That's where Mallorca keeps its soul.

The only pool with no opening hours...
.no tiles, no loungers, no entry fee. Just a rectangular basin of natural stone sitting in the shallows off Es Trenc - locals call it the Roman pool. Built centuries ago, probably to keep fish, now quietly the best swim spot in the south of Mallorca.

Salt water so clear you can count the stones. The kind of place that doesn't make it onto a map, and somehow that's the whole point.

One piano, 200 candles, and a garden near Sineu that turns into something close to magic.

This is David Gómez - a Mallorcan pianist and composer who plays under the open sky, surrounded by hundreds of flickering candles. No big stage, no spotlight. Just his music, the night, and an old finca called Ca’s Pianista, where he’s most at home.

This year he brings “Portrait”, his tenth album - a set of intimate little musical portraits of the people who’ve shaped his life. The kind of evening where time slows down and nobody reaches for their phone.

Crew tip: come a little early, let the light fade, and pick a spot close to the front. When the first candles catch and the first notes drift through the trees, you’ll understand why the locals keep this one quietly to themselves.
