An Absolute Gem in Matagorda – Perfect Family Stay!
We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Calima and cannot recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, our host communication was completely seamless, making the entire process stress-free and welcoming.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spacious and beautifully presented the entire house is. The two bedrooms are fantastic, featuring modern furniture and brilliant built-in wardrobes that offered heaps of storage space. The heart of the home is incredibly comfortable; the sitting room features a massive TV perfect for relaxing evenings, and the kitchen is exceptionally clean, functional, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. Having a washing machine and a clothes horse on hand made the holiday completely convenient.
The outside space is an absolute dream. The swimming pool is highly secure and safe, and our kids had a fantastic time swimming in the main pool all week long (there is also a shallow children's pool on hand). We spent so much time on the large patio, which easily fits two sun loungers plus a table and four chairs. It also features a fantastic adjustable awning, which was perfect for creating a bit of shade when needed. Best of all, despite being so close to everything, the entire area was very quiet and peaceful at night, ensuring everyone got a great night's sleep.
The location truly cannot be beaten:
• The Beach: Literally just across the footpath with breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views.
• Convenience: A bustling shopping centre sits right across the road, packed with a Spar shop, lovely restaurants, gift shops, and clothes shops.
• Transit: A seamless 10-minute drive from the airport, meaning your holiday starts the minute you land.
It is a beautiful, highly central, and incredibly functional home away from home. We are already dreaming of our next visit!
