Back from a lovely week away to Mar Menor Golf. Hit very lucky with weather ☀️☀️and lovely to see some new restaurants opening on the resort. Things seem to definitely be getting back to normal on the resort and golf course, with lots of people on and around the resort.😍😍🏌️🏌️

Spain have lifted their mask rule from today making it optional to wear them indoors in shops, bars etc and hopefully in the coming weeks/months Spain will be making it easier for unvaccinated adults to travel there.

There are no requirements for the locator forms if your fully vaccinated or have the equivalent testing / recover certificates and nothing needed to travel back to uk. Making it much easier and less stressful to travel ☀️☀️

Well Mar Menor didn’t disappoint as always. Everything is still as it was pre covid 😍😍. The bars and restaurants are thriving and the resort felt very safe and clean.

We are opening bookings for next year and will refund any bookings that are affected by covid, although I’m hoping that travelling will have returned to some kind of normality by then.

For anyone wanting to travel earlier please don’t be put off by the restrictions that are in place at the moment if you are double jabbed or under 18 you don’t need to quarantine when returning from Spain and the locator forms you need to fill in are very straightforward. We found the whole process very seemless, please check all restrictions of both countries before booking any flights 😎😎

Hey everyone hope your all keeping safe and well in these very strange times. We are starting to get enquiries for next year. Hopefully if the vaccines go as planned the travel bans will start being lifted early next year hopefully by spring in time for next summer.

Any bookings that are made will be refunded in full if they have to be cancelled due to COVID.

The resort has coped well under the circumstances and the bars and restaurants are still up and running, Spain’s figures seem to be decreasing steadily like the UK’s so hopefully they will be ready to welcome all tourists back as soon as possible

Don’t know about anyone else but I’m in real need of some sun and relaxation and have booked flights for next year as the prices will possibly increase massively once airlines are given the go ahead to open up fully again.

As you will all be aware the government have changed the advice for travelling to Spain to essential travel only (with rapid speed 😬) we will be monitoring this situation to keep you all up to date.

Such a shame as on the resort and areas around there hasn’t been any cases for a while, we have just been out to apartment for a few days and have to admit I felt safer there than I do back in UK. There’s new bars and restaurants opening up on the boulevard, so the resort has a lovely relaxed vibe and we can’t wait to get back over. Our 2021 calendar is open for bookings hopefully this awful situation will be over then and we can all get back to enjoying our time away properly 😎😎😎

Good news for those of you wanting to travel 😎😎 the quarantine from England will be lifted from the 10th July for travellers wanting to travel Spain. The foreign office advice will change and take affect from tomorrow. Please please follow the guidance of both countries when travelling and most importantly stay safe. you may need to fill a location card out before arriving in Spain. Please see link below. 😎😎

The government has delayed their announcement regarding air bridges so we are still waiting for confirmation on the quarantine situation and more importantly the foreign office guidelines, please be aware if you are booking holidays before the foreign office advise changes, even if you are travelling after the change your insurance may be invalid so please double check the small print 😎😎😎
