Our neighbours from Torrox en AUGE have prepared a workshop series to bring one of the most typical andalusian Catholyc festivity in early May every year, the so called "Cruces", closer to the people interested in Torrox ancestral cultural costumes.
They are borrowing one of our free commercial spaces for some of the activities. A great opportunity to visit the place and explore its potential.
Come and visit us!!!

Torrox flower altars, Crosses, are quite peculiar. Full of meaning and symbolism, its complex elaboration makes the Cross itself a fleeting form of art, increasingly rare.
Torrox en AUGE offers several activities to place value on our unique Cross by showing how it is made and what all its pieces could mean.
You can also learn how to cook arropía, a traditional sweet made of molasses, most popular in this celebration, the so-called “Torrox candy”.
