We are set in the heart of the Charente maritime countryside but just a five minute drive from civilisation and all you could possible need!

We have:
* a large 10mtr x 5mtr swimming pool
* 3 acres of land
* A deck in our woodland for peace and relaxation.
* Outside seating / dining areas along with a shaded dining area for those hot days!
* Table tennis
* badminton
* 4 bedrooms
* 2 shower rooms / toilets
* Large kitchen diner
* Large lounge with English and French TV
* Free WiFi
* Utility room with additional fridge freezer and washing machine

When the season ends…. This morning doing the Mud Girl with my baby girl and this afternoon we are making good use of our season tickets for the rugby!!!! Yay!! Allez!! With Luke Girling

What a win for stade rochelais tonight!!! Absolutely nail biting game but glad we came away with a win on the first match of the season! Yay! We are lucky to have season tickets! Great living so close to La Rochelle!

We hear a lot of previous gite owners moan about the business and the guests and the changeovers BUT WE LOVE IT!

I don’t know if we are lucky with our guests or it’s what we supply but we meet beautiful people every year, they all go away having had a wonderful time and the reviews reflect it!

We are heading in to our 11th season next year and it’s the best job we’ve ever had, so thank you for making it possible!

We have now finished our summer season!! It doesn’t mean we are closed but it does mean that I have a LOT of washing!! 😂😂😂

There is lots of work to be done when we do close for the season, apart from the washing we need to repaint anywhere that may have had a little wear and tear through our busy time, check everything from top to bottom, check what might be missing or broken and make sure we have it ready for when we open again! Then there is the garden 😂😂!

Fancy a little break to the Charente maritime, off peak we have a minimum of 3 nights so why not make it a long weekend! There is plenty to see, whether it’s a brocante, historical architecture, beautiful markets, beaches, rivers, it’s all here!

À Lovely stroll through Saintes back streets, a yummy lunch too! Completely underestimated the heat today and wore jeans for the first time in forever! Mistake 😂 it’s warm out there!

A little garden appreciation post this morning!

The weather has cooled, although still plenty warm for shorts and t shirts! All of our trees are surviving the heatwaves and producing their fruits! Figs, walnuts, apples, olives, grapes! I love the peaceful mornings in the garden listening the the rustling of the leaves in the woodland! 💗🇫🇷

Dates still available for September this year and diary has been open for 2027 for a while with summer dates now limited due to early booking 😊

At Casa Nostra, we can present you the menu in English and serve you in our very best “Franglais”, with the French accent of course! 🇫🇷😎
