When a drone helps solve a problem...
A friend asked if I could use my drone to provide aerial visuals of his roof to help identify the source of a water ingress issue affecting his large workshop.
After inspecting the roof space from inside, nothing obvious could be found. That's where an aerial inspection proved invaluable.
I carried out a drone survey, capturing high-resolution photographs and video from angles that simply weren't possible from the ground. These files were then passed on to the artisan carrying out the repair.
The aerial images not only helped identify the likely problem area but also gave the artisan a much better understanding of the overall roof layout before preparing a devis and completing the repair.
It's another great example of how aerial visual surveys can support property maintenance, inspections and planning—saving time, reducing guesswork and helping professionals make informed decisions.
