🇬🇧Within 30mins drive is the stunning Le Puits D’enfer.

A legend says that a peasant who crossed the tumultuous waters with his cart was taken away and disappeared forever in "the Well of Hell".

The site is now classified for its landscape and plant life. There are hiking trails (bring welly boots and be prepared to get muddy!) that take you right to the edge of the waterfalls and even the car park offers panoramic views of near by Saint-Maixent-L’ecole. 💙

When Christmas shopping is finished, come back to a warm log fire (25mins from Poitiers)

Une fois vos achats de Noël terminés, profitez de la chaleur d'un feu de bois aux (25 minutes de Poitiers).

We had some lovely friends stay last week who managed to take some shots of our house, gîtes and beautiful village from their drone. 📷

We love how we are nestled in amongst fields and farms and this shows the area perfectly 🫶🏻
