Nous voici de retour à La Barrière
Nos amis sont de retour cette semaine, alors comme d'habitude, nous avons dû retourner dans notre restaurant préféré pour un repas qui s'est avéré être un autre repas fantastique.
Delphine a encore frappé fort. Le burger du moment est de plus en plus bon.
Celui-ci s'appelle L'Italien et il est à tomber.
Pain aux graines, steak haché, pesto, crème parmesan, salane spianata. 😋😋😋😋
Fortement recommandé.
Le seul problème, c'est qu'ils sont fermés pour vacances du 4 à fin août...
Comment allons-nous faire face ? 😮🤣

Here we are again at La Barriere
Our friends are over this week, so as usual we have to come to our favourite restaurant for what turned out to be another fantastic meal.
Delphine has done it again. The burger du moment just gets better and better.
This one is called L'italien and it's to die for.
Pain aux graines, steak hashe, pesto, crème parmesan , salane spianata
Highly, highly recommended.
The only problem is, is they are closed for their holiday from the 4th till the end of August...
How will we cope... 😮🤣

80e anniversaire de la bataille de Chabanais le 1er août.
Ce qui se passe et quelques vieilles photos de quelques jours après, y compris le pont qui a été détruit. Si vous zoomez sur la photo, quelqu'un se tient dessus 😯

We said goodbye to Vicky cousin Claire and John.
Had a magical few days together with lots of side splitting moments and laughter.
Managed to get out and show them some of the local sights and we can go further afield when they come back 🤗
They loved the local boulangerie La Fournée Chabanoise, L'Oasis Nouv'L for tea and cake and of course we managed to eat at La Barrière twice.
Not saying too much but the holiday did centre around food 🤣🤣
Plus the obligatory looking in the estate agents windows because they can't believe how pretty it is 😍😎

Claire et John, la cousine de Vicky, sont venus nous voir cette semaine et nous les avons emmenés à La Barrière
Une autre soirée fantastique de nourriture et de rire.
L'entrée 'toast facon brunch' est superbe 😋😋

Claire and John, Vicky's cousin, came to see us this week and we took them to La Barrière.
Another fantastic evening of food and laughter.
The starter, brioche base with bacon, egg, rocket and a bbq sauce top is superb 😋😋

OK mes amis gourmands. Vous savez que nous soutenons notre restaurant local La Barrière et pour cause.
Nous avons passé une soirée entre amis et quelle soirée amusante, Sébastien et le personnel étaient toujours aussi géniaux et le burger du moment est superbe 🍔🍔🍔

OK my foodie friends. You know that we support our local restaurant La Barrière and for good reason.
We had an evening with friends and what a fun evening, Sébastien and the staff were always great and the burger of the moment is superb 🍔🍔🍔
