I've been coming to Jarnac practically every month since 2014 and moved over full time in July 2020 having run a small building company in South East England for the last 20yrs specialising in property renovations and conversions. I'm still involved with my company, be it from afar and have started a fledgling venture using my skills looking after property here in Charante France.
I am fully registered and insured here in France as a 'handyman' which means I can do a little bit of everything and can offer the following services:
Property maintenance: Internal and external covering all trades or if I can’t fix it, organising the Artisan that can.
Property security: Regular checks inside and out.
Gite turnaround and guest greeting: Pre and post cleaning and essential welcome pack shopping.
Garden maintenance: Mowing, pruning and w**ding utilising client’s equipment.
Packing and shipping: If you can’t get here then tell me what you want, and I'll pack and ship it for you or hire a small lorry and deliver within Europe.
Disposal of furniture and effects: We'll go through an inventory, agree asking prices and then I'll put them up for sale locally.
Garage and shed clearance: As above and including trips to the dechetterie.
On site video calls to ease direction and communication if signal allows.

Peter and his team were the main contractor on a site where we fitted the kitchen. The specification of the whole project was to an exacting high standard and Peter was exceptionally thorough in preparing the space for us to work. His attention to detail is second to none and he is a great problem solver. Having since been back to see the final completed project I was so impressed that I have asked him to come and work on my own property.

We had seen Teamwork Tenterden before and where so impressed with the quality of their professionalism that we asked if they could do some repair work to our ceilings and roof due to flooding after a very heavy rainfall damage. We were very impressed with the end result and would not hesitate to contact them again.

As we are in Texas - 5,000 miles away - and can't come into France, it has been a godsend having you taking care of the place in our stead.
