we are so lucky to have all of this beauty around us on our morning river run.

A walk/run/cycle path is currently being constructed all along the banks of the river Vézère. Starting at Les Eyzies and finishing at the 'beau village' Limeuil.

It will be fully open in 2023, it's going to be wonderful!

July 14th Bastille Day and our little village of Les Eyzies put on a wonderful display.
A fabulous laser light show on the rocks (I missed the best photo opportunities, sorry) a beautiful firework display, live music and lots of dancing, we had a great time!!!
There are many more fêtes throughout July and August to look forward to.....

The sun came out this afternoon so we decided to go for a walk around the grounds of the château at Campagne. Sadly, we were too late as the gates close at 4pm so we took some photos over the wall and through the gate and headed off to the forest opposite.
In true Harrison fashion, we managed to get lost and started to worry that we weren’t going to make it home before the 6pm curfew….. thank goodness for Google maps, phew just made it!!!

2020 sadly wasn’t the year that we expected or wanted so we are very much looking forward to seeing it out by drinking champagne and dancing on the tables!
We can’t wait to see some of you again next year at Le Relais des Roches and of course welcome some of you for the very first-time.

Well we're back in confinement again for another 4 weeks.
We know that we are very lucky because it doesnt make too much differnce to us except that we are now only allowed to run 1km from home. We still pass by lots of beautiful scenery though......

Ryanair are now flying from Southend airport to Bergerac airport.

Buggs car are always cheaper than the national car hire companies and very reliable, they are based at both Bergerac and Limoges airports.
