The village of Les Houches is also the starting point for the famous classic climb of the Mont-Blanc accessible from the village by a cable car and a mountain train which stops at 2400 meters. An important project has recently been approved for an installation of a new “ski chair” which would connect the Les Houches ski area to the Saint Gervais-Megeve ski area increasing immensely its overall skiing potential and.
