It's the time of year again when we harvest our peaches. This year they're tiny, about the size of a golf ball, due to the very dry weather. But, they still have their gorgeous red insides and taste great. 😋

Although we're 100kms east of the wildfires near Bordeaux, when the wind is in our direction we suffer from the smoke. This is today.

We're in no danger, partly because the vegetation between us and Bordeaux is different to the pine forests on the coast, but it's so sad to hear of lives being lost, along with properties, businesses and crops.

We're due our fourth heatwave of the year this week, so just hoping the brave people fighting these fires can manage to get them under control.
