Moulin Rabier all ready to host first wedding in 2018 on Monday - no shortage of work needed to get from Thursday morning's storm ravaged state (felled trees and debris everywhere - not to mention tiles lost on the Pigeonnier tower) after horrendous wind and rain Wednesday afternoon. Reminded us of the first wedding we hosted for the lovely L&T in 2013 when it stormed both the Thursday night and the Friday night before their big day on the Saturday. They always remind us of the experience of having Dave's face, backlit by a big burst of lightning, appear at the living room window - just to check they were OK when the power went out but gave them a big shock!

'water, water everywhere' - fortunately we have 'the high ground' on this side of the river so have stayed dry. Thinking of those living along La Tude who may be less fortunate today.
