A l'occasion du 4ème salon des Sites Remarquables du Goût à Mourjou les 13 et 14 juin prochains, l'association Vivre en Châtaigneraie organise une randonnée pédestre, ouverte à tous, le samedi 13.
RDV à 9h devant la salle des fêtes de Mourjou, pour un circuit d'environ 8 Km à la découverte des châtaigniers en fleurs.
Au retour, possibilité de visiter le salon et d'y déjeuner avec les produits de 25 exposants venant de 18 départements.

We have joined a new booking agency called Chambresdirect.fr It is what we all like with direct booking throuh the host. No added charges or pressure to make price cuts just a straight forward arrangement between host and guest. We will see how it goes but we have already booked a chambres d hote for ourselves using it. There wont be much activity for us as we are nearly all booked up but maybe it is the answer to all us gite owners prayers.

Wishing all our visitors a very happy new year.

I am hoping to let the farmhouse much more in 2026. This year was all about re pointing, solar panels, and time and space for family. 2026 is going to be for our visitors who enjoy the peace and calm of the country, walks, sun bathing and relaxing with lots of space a salt water pool and lazy days visiting pretty medieval villages with charming restaurants.
