It’s fig season again! Gorgeous straight from the tree but equally nice in a tart or cut in half, fried lightly in butter and served with crepe fraiche and a drizzle of honey for breakfast.

Oh what a difference a day makes! Well, after temperatures well into the 30’s yesterday, this morning we can’t see across the valley to Orival. It is a pleasant 21 degrees which is a bit of a relief
