Something special is happening here this September, and a few extra spots have become available!

For one week, our 14th century priory becomes a home for making art, slowing down, and reconnecting with your creativity. Six nights in the French countryside near Poitiers with artist Ally Bryan.

Aside from learning simple, expressive techniques, you’ll also make your own brushes and creative journal.

Your week will also consist of medieval village visits, a morning at a French brocante, vineyard visits and tastings, sunny walks through the sunflowers, and long seasonal dinners with local wines.

No experience needed. Just a love of creating and the desire to give yourself the time. Your concertina art book will grow page by page, turning into a keepsake to take home.

On a lovely day out from Pressigny, you can visit the lovely town of Chinon, with its stunning castle, then head to Saumur where there is a wealth of entertainment, from wine tastings in some of the most famous names on the Loire, to boat trips and most fascinating of all, in my mind, exploring the caves where some of the hundreds of tons of mushrooms are grown each year. The living museum has lots of varieties growing - and they are for sale in the shop! A great way to spend a cool afternoon (it’s a steady 12 degrees underground) on a baking afternoon. Can’t recommend it enough! 🇫🇷
