Our Story
The Clos Vieux Rochers vineyard sits in the rolling countryside just outside Puisseguin, close to Saint Emilion. Having been established for many years we bought the property in 2015 after it had been neglected for some years. The Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux we produce is a quality Bordeaux wine and we strive to keep it unique to fulfill both the tastes of the modern wine drinker and ou
r traditional client base. We have renovated the old farm house into four very stylish gites that are attracting a very varied clientele that all appreciate the blend of modern convenience along with good service standards set in a beautiful location on a working vineyard. If you want to escape and relax but still want to be close to all the region has is offer, Clos Vieux Rochers has the best of both worlds being only an hour from Bordeaux or Bergerac Airports the best of the Gironde and Dordogne is right on your doorstep. One of the old houses on the property we have developed into our tasting room and own home. The work does not end there as we are continually working on the vines and improving the property and its buildings. We offer a space for meetings or small parties as well as catering with special events planned for the coming year, from dinners on the edge of the vines to BBQ and music events. We are open daily for sales and tours but it is advisable to send us a message or give us a call to ensure we are here to welcome you. In 2016 we were filmed for “A New Life In The Sun” which was aired on Channel 4 early 2017, the followed our progress throughout the year and into our harvest. We were asked back to be part of the next series where they have been catching up with us finishing the gites, welcoming our first guests and right through the summer and into harvest once more. This series was aired in early 2018 when they returned to film a brief catch up with us for the following year. Previous episodes are available on catch up TV.
