Just heard the first of the hoopoes' yesterday. The cuckoos have ben back about a week, and the swallows are starting to reappear🙂🙂🙂

Swallowtail butterflies on the lavender! Half a bottle rosé and those bales have not moved an Inch!

It's that time of the year! The thermometer has stopped gripping about cold feet! The lavender bushes are alive with hawk moths and lemon butterflies, as is the red sage bush at the other end of the pool. Meanwhile the Ballerina rose is just doing its' thing.
The hay has been cut, so you are looking over the meadow, preferably with a glass to contemplate!

The pool has been de-winterised and the new summer cover fitted /Installed. Water temperature is 26°C, so it's time to hop in. The post swim rosé season is almost upon us!!!!!

The orchids are coming in to bloom in the meadow. The wild cherry is in bloom too, and it's time to unpack the pool after the winter hiatus. Enjoying a tariff-free moment studying the meadow!
