Meet Kris, our host with the best NomadUnion history in the house 👋

He came to NomadUnion as one of our very first guests. He liked it so much he kept coming back, staying with us as a host multiple times and now he's part of the family as our long term host 🏡

A few things you should know about Kris:

⛰️He hikes every chance he gets
🥞🔥 He can flip a crepe (double flip, no less, we've seen it)
💃🕺You will absolutely find him at Wayne's dancing on the tables when the night calls for it

Oh, and when he's not hosting, he's an accredited life coach and a software engineer, so yes, he can debug your code and your mindset in the same afternoon 🧠💻

You’ve heard us talk about the French Riviera… this time we’re doing something a little different 👀🇱🇹

This July, we’re running a pop-up coliving in Vilnius, Lithuania (in addition to our regular Coliving on the French Riviera).

I’m Giedrė, one of NomadUnion’s founders, and I’m Lithuanian. For a long time, I’ve wanted to bring a small group of nomads back home and share the places, culture, and energy that make Lithuania so special. This summer it’s finally happening ✨

Vilnius is a UNESCO World Heritage city filled with baroque architecture, a medieval old town, cozy cafés, and a creative energy that surprises people in the best way. It’s affordable, well connected, and one of those places people visit once and keep talking about.

What July looks like:

🌞 Long golden summer days and perfect temperatures
🌲 Lakes, forests & green countryside just outside the city
🏛️ UNESCO Old Town literally on your doorstep
💸 Cost of living that feels like a relief after Western Europe
✈️ Direct flights from most European cities

You’ll stay in a private studio with your own bathroom + kitchenette, while sharing the experience with a small group of 10–12 remote workers who actually want to live somewhere new, not just pass through.

Think community dinners, skill shares, local experiences, and discovering a city most people still haven’t explored yet.

Three months ago I had a skiing accident that suddenly slowed everything down.

For weeks I couldn’t walk. First I was mostly in bed, then slowly moving around with crutches. I was still living in the coliving, surrounded by everyone, but I wasn’t able to take care of the community the way I usually do.

This experience reminded me what NomadUnion is truly about. It is not just about sharing a space. It is about people showing up for each other when it really matters.

I am especially grateful to my partner Manuel, who somehow managed to take care of both me and the coliving at the same time. Your patience and care meant everything during those weeks.

A huge thank you as well to our amazing community managers Rica and Krzysiek, who stepped in and kept the community running so beautifully while I wasn’t able to be as present.

And to everyone in the house who checked in, helped, shared a meal, or simply brought positive energy. Thank you. Moments like that remind me that coliving can truly feel like a small family.

Now, three months later, I am finally feeling much better and slowly coming back to what I love most. Taking care of our coliving and the community we are building together.
