Our bed and breakfast and gite accommodation is located in a truly unique location only 50m from the banks of the Canal du Midi at Millepetit, in the Languedoc and South of France. We can accomodate up to 4 people and are ideally located for cycling, hiking, walking, boating and bird watching; exploring the historical Cathar castles; wine tasting, wild swimming, canoeing or just experiencing life
on a working French farm. The Domaine de Millepetit dates back to the 12C and is on one of the most photogenic and meandering stretches of the world famous Canal. Rural though not remote, Carcassonne is just a short drive or a one hour cycle away. Cross the bridge by the Chateau to walk into the picturesque port of Trèbes 3 km away (about 40 mins) or cycle in either direction to experience the iconic sights of the Canal and the local villages. The Cottage is part of the original stable block and set one row back from the Canal. Millepetit is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and apricot orchards and you can buy wines, fruit and vegetables direct from the producers. By the canal you have access to our own charming mooring and gardens – a perfect place to watch life on the Canal pass you by while sipping a glass of Millepetit Rosé!
