Well it has been a beautiful summer after a very shaky start, but we have made full use of every area of the garden for eating and drinking, just a few fun pictures to savour and I still swam today the 3rd October, how lovely xx

We will be renting the house out to friends only (so please do not share this with people we don't know as it is still going to be full of our personal stuff) from May until September
The cost is for the whole property and pool, it has two bedrooms and sleeps 4. We will also leave you a welcome basket with things that you may need before you walk down to the village. All bedding, towels and pool towels are included.

The cost will be

June.........................................450 euros per week or
June.........................................75 euros per day
July...........................................500 euros a week or
July...........................................80 euros per day
August.......................................600 euros per week or
August.......................................100 euros per day

If you are interested in any dates please personal message me, if you plan to drive then we can give you all the directions that you need, if you are flying then the nearest airport to us is Poitiers, they have a europcar car hire there.

Just to let you all know the house is still up for sale and we will not be taking any deposits or money from anyone just incase the place sells before your visit. The whole process of selling in France is 3 months and so all bookings taken now for May are fine, In March all bookings for June will be fine, In April all bookings for July will be fine so on and so forth.

Hello everyone, we have finally returned back to France after a 7 week christmas break, for all of you people who fed us, entertained us, put us up, lent us their houses thank you, thank you, thank you ###
So we are now going to sort out the house rental side of things, I have tried to set up any type of calendar app in the past 24 hours and have failed miserably, after getting the computer whizz David involved he told me that he had also failed, so I don't feel so bad.
I am just going to do a grid in the status box and then I am going to leave it up to you who are interested to personal message me with the dates that you are interested in, once you have given me your dates that you want I will update the grid every time we get a booking.

Wow thank you for the responses on the house renting, I realise that you will probably all need a bit more information, for those of you that have personal messaged me hopefully this will answer all your questions, Ali Price, Dave Bradbery, Claire Colley, Tim Mumford, Neville Mistry, Lisa Downes. The first thing to tell you is that we do have the house on the market, when buying a house in France from the day someone accepts to buy your house then you have three months from the day they say yes, to the day you move, so if we have not sold the house by March then we will have at least another three months, so April would mean we would move in July, so on and so on......... baring this in mind we will be quite happy to rent it out if we have not sold by March !!!!! Ok we live in a wonderful village called Verteuil sur Charente in the Poitou Charente, which is SW France. The nearest airport is Poitiers which is 40 minutes away or Limoges which is a little further down, Ryanair fly to both. You can drive from Calais in about six and a half hours and you can also get a ferry to Northern France and drive down which is about a five hour drive.
The village is the best ever, we have a chateau, pharmacy, florist, butchers, hairdresser, bakers, two gift shops, restaurants and a wonderful wine bar called La Regis run by our gorgeous Sebastien. The house is two double bedrooms both ensuite and a small single day bed upstairs, we have the pool, two bikes and a two acre garden. I would suggest that you have a look on our page called The Nolan's, you will see all the pictures of the inside and outside of the property.
After Christmas we will put a little calendar on The Nolan's page and then if any of you are interested you can see what dates we have available.
We have already been told that 400 euros a week is too cheap, but we are not doing this to make money and we won't be letting anyone stay that we don't know, as this will still be our home and will stay that way (photos and personal stuff still left out) if you feel that you are using the phone, electric and stuff a bit too much then you can leave a few extra euros to cover, but as I say it is for friends only ###x

After a wonderful week using the house to its full potential of guests and party revellers we are now settling down to autumn life in Verteuil xx Chutney making, walnut picking(the garden has 5 walnut trees so we have them in abundance) and still walking into our wonderful village for drinks in the wine bar and beautiful meals in our village restaurants. Life is good and it could be for you too if you bought this house ###
