What size ceiling light do you need?

I often see lights tiny light shades that do not help any space feel luxurious, or bigger, or happier.

So, let's try and get our size right to create a better presentation and help our target market stay in our houses.

A general rule of thumb formula can be used to determine an appropriate diameter for a single ceiling fixture. That is a light pendant that is going to be the main general light in the room.

To determine the size of this fixture, measure the length and width of the room. Add those two numbers together and then convert the total into inches.

So if your room is 12 feet by 12 feet,
12+12=24
the ceiling fixture should be 24 inches wide.

This can be increased or decreased by 10%, depending on your personal taste.

The tricky purple shades that get noticed! 💜
One is warmer and pinker / one is cooler and bluer - both I think work better in solo. If you are going to use them, you have to commit. Only in large block it will deliver its full effect! Romantic and feminine, they create soothing and elegant spaces, well suited for living room and study. You have to be careful to remain on the right side of that sweet sickly fine line....
Both can easily paired with white, but also peachy tones or sage nuance.

Not easy to integrate but if done right, it can be quite stunning 🤩
