We're a traditional, family-run pub in a small village located just outside the city of Oxford. Different ales that are changed frequently and larger on tap. We also stock a large selection of soft drinks. Families welcomed. Make yourself at home whilst warming up by our open log fire.

Three years ago I signed the paperwork and became Landlord of The Plough, the time has gone by so fast and its had its challenges but the fun times we had and the friends I made along the way have made ot all worth it. I look forward to many more years here! I will be having a few drinks later today between food service and the screening of Mamma Mia, It would lovely if you can join me for a celebratory tipple

At the end of the month I will be celebrating my 3rd year here at The Plough, how time flies when you're a landlord (i mean how time flies when you're having fun)

On Sunday the 30th August we will hosting the Appleton Village Cinema in our beer garden and you guessed it, Mamma Mia is the film. So come on down, bring your camp chairs and blankets for when it gets chilly and join me and the team celebrating three amazing years here at the plough with drinks, bbq and a movie. X
