The holiday season is upon us, and we’re busy preparing lots of joyful events for our residents over the next few weeks. To make this time extra special, we’d love your support! 💖

✨ What we’re collecting:

Gift sets & non‑perishable food items to donate to a local charity suggestions on what local charity are more than welcome 🎁🍪

Small photo frames for a resident craft project 🖼️🎨

🚗 We can collect donations, or if you’re passing by, pop in and say hi — we’d love to see you!

Your kindness will bring festive cheer to our residents and spread goodwill to the wider community. Thank you for helping us make this season brighter for everyone. 🌟

🎃 Happy Halloween from Belvedere! 🥳
​We've been knee-deep in the spooky spirit this week, with lots of crafts and pumpkin carving! Today, the celebration went up a notch as our amazing staff and residents dressed up for a fantastic party!
​A huge thank you to everyone for making it such a memorable day. We'll be sharing all the amazing costume and party pictures on Monday, so keep an eye out!

🎉 HUGE NEWS! 🎉
​The team at Belvedere Care Home is bursting with pride to officially announce we are now a Veteran Friendly Care Home! 🎖️
​We celebrated this milestone with a spectacular party, welcoming our residents, their families, our amazing staff, and special guests from ELHT and the Accrington Royal British Legion (RBL). It was a day filled with joy as we recognized and honored our veterans and their families. This is a crucial way we're stepping up to support our veteran community! (We also received apologies from the Deputy Mayor, who was unable to attend on the day).
​A massive thank you to the incredible Robin , our vocalist! You were truly fab as always and kept the party buzzing! 🎤

​We're passionate about making a difference! There's funding available until next year for care homes to achieve this accreditation. Let's work together to make more Hyndburn Care Homes Veteran Friendly!

With the sunshine making a strong appearance, you may notice our lovely care staff in t-shirts — staying cool while continuing to provide the best care with a smile. 😎👕

We're making sure our residents stay cool and hydrated, with refreshing drinks, shaded areas, and plenty of TLC. 💧🪴

And for our wonderful visitors — ice lollies are available for everyone! Just ask a member of staff and enjoy a sweet treat while you’re here. 🍦😊

Comfort and hydration are our top priorities, and we’re doing all we can to make sure everyone feels relaxed and refreshed during this warm spell. 🌼

🌍🍫 World Chocolate Day at Belvedere! 🍫🌍 Yesterday was sweet in every sense of the word! We celebrated World Chocolate Day with a Tasteraict Day (yes, we made that word up — tasting + activity = Tasteraict!) featuring homemade chocolate creations, chocolate-themed quizzes, and enough cocoa to make W***y Wonka jealous! 😄

The best part? Even our residents who usually shy away from activities couldn’t resist joining in. Chocolate truly is the ultimate crowd-gatherer! 💖

But wait… the fun doesn’t stop there! 🍃🍹 Psst… it’s Mojito Day this Friday! Get ready for a zesty twist with minty-fresh mocktails, tropical tunes, and maybe even a little salsa dancing (or at least some enthusiastic chair-shimmying 💃🪑).
