This little fledged House Martin has made an appearance this morning into the porch 🐦.

Hopefully they’ll be away soon and I can carry on with painting the upstairs outside windows.

Dear Rob,
I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in that lovely family house in Scotland. We had a magical week, not least because the house was so accommodating and comfortable. I really appreciate your letting us use it.

There is so much about the house that it is intriguing and beautiful - we loved its location and views - though I can appreciate that caring for it must be hard work. My only disappointment was that I failed to see a red squirrel - Mike spotted one swinging through the trees.

I know that you are going up in a week or so - I hope you find everything in good order, and again, many thanks and best wishes,

We are now taking bookings for 2018.
It's with regret that the daily rental will have to increase.This is the first time in 13 years.

October to April will now be
£95 a night during school holidays
£90 a night outside school holidays
(This is due to the cost of heating a large house)

May to September
£85 a night during school holidays
£75 a night outside school holidays

Considering we can accommodate 10 people it still works out as a very cheap holiday per head.
