Wow! did not disappoint and neither did the boys. Oscar finished a very credible 5th in the Intermediate on his campaign and Nibbles finished 4th in his first BE100. Only Nibbles’ second event after a career on the hunting field for the early part of his life, his dressage work is beautiful but he still needs to understand why he is cantering in circles in white boards - all a work in progress but the judges loved him and he left the fly bucks out of his test this time.
Both boys absolutely cruised round the imposing cross country courses which rode so well.
South of Scotland is an absolute go-to for Cheshire eventers, easy travelling straight up the M6, absolutely beautiful big bold courses designed by and built by . The going was absolutely foot perfect in both the SJ arena and on the XC course. Subsidised stabling, lorry parking on hard standing and a very welcoming team meant that we will definitely be back next year!
None of this is possible without our amazing team, my best mate who keeps me and the boys in order and the wonderful team who work so hard to get these horses and all of the other horses in our care ready to go to competitions like this.
