THE BIGGER THE DOG THE MORE THERE IS TO LOVE!

Fluffy is such a handsome man as you can see. He is a big boy weighing over 60kg however all he wants in life is to find a comfy place to rest his head next to his favourite person.

Despite Fluffy’s size he is worried by new people so is looking for an adult only household.

Fluffy enjoys being out for his walks and again despite his size doesn’t need a huge amount of exercise. He loves to have his nose to the ground when out exploring.

Whilst not everyone may have a Fluffy sized gap on their sofa, everyone can share his post so please help us to find Fluffy his forever home!

PLEASE SIGN SO DOGS LIKE GRYFF DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER

The Government has dropped its promise to provide new protections for animals in the . In addition to tackling puppy smuggling and dog theft, the Bill woud have banned the importation of ear-cropped dogs. It is currently legal to import mutilated dogs, and cruel breeders and owners hide behind this smokescreen to crop illegally here in the U.K. where we have seen a staggering rise in the number of ear cropped dogs. Dogs like Gryff who came into our care with a number of other ear cropped Pocket Bullies.

Please sign the petition from Andrea Jenkyns asking the Government to reverse its decision, and to dedicate Parliamentary time to the Bills passage and enact it into law.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

These two beauties, Misty and Beau, have been with us since February - almost five months now - and we want them to find their perfect home so PLEASE SHARE!

Misty is around 10-years-old and Beau around eight-years-old and we think they are mother and son.

Sadly their human passed away so we don’t know much about them, but from being with us we know they are very loving and cheeky!

They both love to go out and about but Misty can’t do as much as Beau.

They need to be together and in a pet-free home.

They do pull a bit on the lead on the way out on a walk but they soon calm down.

Both of them love people and are so friendly.

This beautiful girl was picked up as a stray last week. Sadly, no-one has come forward to claim her, and tomorrow her 7 days in the pound come to an end.
So we desperately need a foster placement placement for her where she can be further assessed for a forever home.

APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED - Lucky Arthur has had 100’s of applications and the team are very busy going through them.

Hey everyone, Arthur here. This was my face yesterday when I was officially adopted! BUT… unfortunately my new family wasn’t to be and they called this morning to cancel, they think I am too big. I am a staffy cross so I suppose I am bigger than most staffies but I am super chilled in my foster home. I don’t chew at all, I’m a clean boy. I love to play and I’m pretty active but also love to snooze and I even sometimes sit at the dining table with my foster family and fall asleep 😴 my kong toy is my favourite but I love any toys and food! I give the best kisses and I’m so trusting of new people considering the terrible trauma I had before coming to Carla Lane Animals in Need and being taken care of by my fantastic foster parents. The vets saved my life after I was stabbed 48 times, I’m lucky to be alive they said as one wound was only 1mm away from my jugular. I’m all healed now and very grateful to those who saved me, thankfully I will never be in the company of anyone nasty ever again, but slightly disappointed that I haven’t yet found my forever home.

I’m so well trained, very obedience, occasionally pull slightly at the beginning of my walks but once I’m settled I’m such a good boy. I know all of my basic commands and have great manners. I am good with other dogs but not so great with cats I’m afraid! I am friendly with children but given my past trauma the rescue think it would be best that I go to a child free home as sometimes noise and certain things can overwhelm me.

I will truly be the perfect companion for someone I just know it!
