Sessions include bike maintenance, instructor-led rides, confidence sessions and bike health checks.

A series of free cycling events is taking place this September and October for women, families and anyone looking to build their cycling confidence.

Supported by Hampshire County Council, Rushmoor Borough Council and delivered by The Walk, Wheel, Cycle Trust, sessions include maintenance, instructor-led rides, confidence sessions and bike health checks.

🚨Important information from the Wellesley Woodlands team🚨

Following water tests at Chalk Farm Lake, Wellesley Woodlands the Environment Agency have confirmed a strain of algae that can be toxic to animals and people. To protect public health:

* Do not swim in or enter the water
* Do not allow pets to enter the water
* Avoid direct contact with algae

Ever wondered where the names of the roads and buildings at Wellesley come from?

We've worked closely with local historian Paul Vickers to ensure the estate's proud military heritage is remembered and celebrated throughout the development.

Our new website is now live! While we're still ironing out a few minor teething issues, we're delighted that our new Heritage page is up and running.

Please remember that privately owned e-scooters can only be used on private land with the landowner's permission, using them in public places is against the law. We ask all residents to respect this and help keep our community safe for pedestrians, especially children and vulnerable residents.

If you witness the illegal use of e-scooters, you can report it to the police by calling 101 or by reporting it online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website https://www.hampshire.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/

Non-emergency incidents can be reported using either method.
