💥Planning Approved!💥

We’re delighted to announce that planning permission has been secured for the construction of a new two-bedroom dwelling within the garden of an existing property in Shilbottle.

This approval didn’t come easily — it required persistence, collaboration, and a detailed understanding of both client needs and local planning requirements. We worked closely with the Local Authority’s planning department to achieve a positive determination while delivering on our Client’s vision.

The result will be a beautifully designed home that will enjoy stunning views over the Northumberland countryside — and even a glimpse of the sea!

A big thank you to the planning officers for their pragmatic approach, and to our fantastic Client, whose trust and patience throughout made this possible.

Next up: the Building Regulations technical package — and then on to construction!

A great start to the New Year with our first Planning Permission approval through the door!

This is for a new rear extension and new detached garage within the Wooler Conservation Area. The new extension will greatly improve the kitchen and dining space within the property, and the glazed gable end will give a beautiful contrast between the new extension and the striking period host property.

Building Regulations drawings are to be produced next, to get this project ready for the build!

Another Planning Permission sneaking in before the Christmas break! For extensions and alterations including a loft conversion to a property in Kirkwhelpington. This was in a Conservation Area, so a robust Planning statement and quality drawings ensured there were no issues during the planning stage. A great way to end the year!!

We've been a little quiet on socials due to the huge workloads we've been working through, so lets come back with a bang...

Planning Permission received for a new dwelling in the village of Swarland!

We undertook all surveys, drawings and design works, and led the planning process demonstrating that the plot was suitable for a new dwelling, and that the design of the property was acceptable, with a positive outcome!

The Client was fantastic to work with and is over the moon with the decision.

😍🤩 Stunning! 🤩😍

Another great job to be involved in, and what a transformation.

We undertook the initial surveys and design works, allowing us to get the structural steel work calculated for the load-bearing wall removals/new openings. We then prepared the Building Regulations paperwork, keeping everything correct and legal.

It looks fantastic and the Clients are very happy!

Planning Permission received and Building Regulations drawings produced for a two storey extension in Alnwick 😁

The extension provides a play room, bigger WC and utility room on the ground floor, and on the first floor a spacious double bedroom with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. Externally the house is to be rendered to give a fresh, modern look 😎

The build is already underway so we will soon see the completed project!

Lawful Development Certificate received for a side extension to a property in Alnwick!

This involves demolishing the garage, so to retain enough parking spaces we've made plans to widen the driveway into a double drive 🙂

The extension provides a new ground floor bedroom, toilet and utility room, all to the Client's requirements.

We're happy with the outcome of this one, as were the Client who left us a 5⭐ review!

Happy New Year everyone!

Some photos from a project last year, where the Client came to us with Planning Permission already in place and needing a technical design package put together to cover Building Regulations, structural calculations, and drawings for pricing and working purposes.

The project is nearing completion and looks amazing!
