Meet Heather, one of our swimming teachers! 👋

Heather helps swimmers of all ages build confidence in the water while learning essential skills that can help keep them safe for life. From first splashes to developing strong swimming ability, every lesson is an opportunity to learn valuable water safety skills.

A huge thank you to all of our leisure team for the incredible work they do every day to help keep our community safe in and around the water.

From supporting our staff and overseeing daily operations to ensuring safety remains a top priority, Chloe plays a vital role in creating a safe environment for everyone who visits our centre.

Yesterday, we said goodbye to James as he delivered his final lifeguard training session with us.

Since the early 2000s, James has played a key role in keeping our lifeguard team trained, confident and up to date, helping us maintain the highest standards of safety for everyone who visits our centre.

We are incredibly grateful for everything he has contributed and the difference he has made. Thank you, James! 😊

It’s and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to the incredible volunteers who have given their time, skills and energy to support Woodrow High House and Leisure Centre and Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre.

From garden maintenance, to creating a sensory garden, to rebuilding our cycle circuit and creating a pond, every project has helped keep our centres thriving and ready to provide exceptional outdoor learning and leisure experiences for young people that we strive for at London Youth.

The impact of your hard work reaches far beyond the tasks themselves, helping thousands of young people explore, learn, grow and create lasting memories in the outdoors.
