We are surrounded by open countryside. Ampleforth, located 1 mile from the cottage has a shop, post office and 2 pubs, both serving delicious food. You can also find a coffee shop within a mile of the cottage.

The popular and picturesque market town of Helmsley- with a good variety of independent shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants is just a five minute drive away.
