Hi everyone, this doesn't happen often, but here is at least one full week's advance notice of a special sale. The EPC is current. The Homebuyer's report is exempt, BUT we are arranging for a Homebuyer's Report to happen so as to cover all bases. Full disclosure, this was going to be my own home. However, I have the option of either more spinal surgery, or find a ground-floor house. At 65 years of age, I ain't so keen of repeating the earlier surgeries and we ain't putting one of THOSE lifts into the building! So here is a stonkingly good home for sale within our Tod Head Lighthouse Station. There is a lot more information to be uploaded because we were/are advanced on getting the specialist lighthouse contractors in to do the remedial work magic (Northern Lighthouse Board & Trinity House guys). Hence the price at £106,000 instead of £111,000. Also I loathe the wasted money and distressed emotions caused by the selling "closing date" system. So we are giving that the elbow. The senior politicians and HM Land Registry/Registers of Scotland + Law Society are being included as I believe a new "option" protocol of buying/selling homes where ONE buyer and ONE seller agree a price and honour the deal ensures both are happy and incidentally, the kids and grandkids will be able to afford a home rather than the toxic inflation caused by SOME greedy types who shamelessly exploit the "closing date" system for vast house price increases.
