We are just reposting this as we have been made aware of some recent rumours again, please share thank you !

The beloved Tempo Club has been the topic of conversation within Ashington. We are here to confirm that we are indeed the buyers!!

We intend to reconstruct and renovate The Tempo Club into multiple 1- 2 bedroom flats due to the increasing demand locally. Additionally, there are a few other aspects that we can't wait to reveal later down the line.

Now to extinguish the recent lies and rumours spread across social media. There have been numerous rumours surrounding the Tempo Club regarding 'HMOs' or 'House of Multiple Occupancy'. We want to clarify that the title means more than just illegal immigrants, however our properties are to be rented out via in house agency and all tenants have to prove their legal living rights.

We also want to emphasise how damaging spreading such lies and rumours is. Not only are they damaging to the businesses of which you accuse, but also those who are influenced by your words. We tried to hold off on this announcement, but due to the threats towards the building itself and the offensive language thrown towards those trying to protect our privacy, we have had to announce this ahead of schedule and completion.

As a property business, we acknowledge the issues regarding housing and intend to help the community thrive through creating high-quality homes and meeting the local housing needs in Ashington. Working alongside other landlords in the area for a brighter future. During this time, we hope everyone stays positive and looks forward to updates on this adored building.

The Christmas Present Appeal

Your generosity and kindness—whether through gifts, monetary contributions, or by sharing and promoting our awareness posts—have made a meaningful difference for many children this holiday season.

I think it's safe to say that... THE RJF CHRISTMAS PARTY 2025 WAS A SUCCESS!!

A night full of love, laughter and generous hearts.

We want to extend our gratitude to all those who made this night possible...
The amazing staff and beautiful venue at Close House, our favourite singer Jason King, the best magician Corporate Illusion Ltd, AG Events for providing the amazing RJF lights and photobooth, Robyn’s for the fabulous balloons and Sophie Blackburn for the delicious cookies!

Finally, a massive thank you to all our hard-working employees and guests. Thank you for your generosity towards the Christmas Present Appeal (Salvation Army Shop), which has been a huge success so far. As well as all your kindness, support and donations towards our Miles For Miles Charity, we can't express our appreciation enough.

We will be releasing a separate post tomorrow morning on the Miles for Miles Charity to allow us to share our gratitude to all donors and announce the remaining raffle winners, as well as the raised total!

BRINGING CHRISTMAS MAGIC TO EVERY CHILD!

This year at RJF, we are working alongside The Salvation Army with their Christmas Present Appeal, to help bring a little bit of joy to vulnerable and disadvantaged children this Christmas.

Alongside the donations from our team here at RJF, we ask for your generous contribution, no matter how small.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can give, but I know the children who will experience a bit of magic this Christmas will appreciate it even more.

If you would prefer to handpick presents yourself, our office is open 9-5, Monday through Friday. You are more than welcome to bring a gift along. Our location can be found on our page.

We understand that not everyone can donate this Christmas season but a share would be greatly appreciated.
