Nethy Bridge is also an ideal base for visiting many of the nearby places of interest such as the Highland Wildlife Park, Strathspey Steam Railway and the Highland Folk Museum. It is also ideally located for exploring distilleries on the Whisky Trail.

Speyside Distillery

Tours available to book for the Sunday of the Big Mix Weekend.

A small, hand-built, artisan distillery nestled amongst the foothills of the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains…still hand distilling in time-honoured traditions.

The distillery includes a 200 year old croft mill with a water wheel whose lade is the distillery water supply, the distillery itself was hand-built by a stone mason over two decades, the full production is housed under one roof, First distillation 1990.

The Harvey’s of Edinburgh whisky heritage an be viewed from the 1770’s to present day and the distillery is also known as ‘Lagganmore’ from BBC TV’s Monarch of the Glen series.
