🎭Part 3 - drama in Gleneagles

This might become a thing - the trials and tribulations of being a caravan owner!

This is the most shocking, two weekends ago my caravan neighbours had their van broken into. A bedroom window was smashed and two young people, I use that term loosely, made themselves at home for the weekend. Glass everywhere and left an absolute mess.

My neighbours have 3 young kids!

Fast forward to this weekend, I arrive on Friday, there are guests next door, I say good morning on Saturday en route to the shop, later that day I notice the curtains are closed, I assume the guests have left as there was no car that night and thought they had left the curtains shut to make it look like the van is occupied during the night.

On Sunday afternoon I head to the shop again and pass my neighbours heading to their van. Imagine their surprise, shock and anger when they turn up at the van and realise the same two youths are inside their van, sleeping in their bed. I arrive back to be told they are inside again. Security and the police are called, fair play to them all, arrived very quickly.

The young couple admit to having broken in two weekends again, said the door was open this time, I highly doubt that! A glass had been thrown at the wardrobe mirror, smashed the glass and the mirror and decided to graffitti on the bedroom wall with a sharpie, accusing the owner, using her name, of being a grass and showing their age by drawing male genitalia.

Three young kids, who love to visit their caravan now frightened to stay, damage cost for the owners, loss of rent as they had to get their guests put up elsewhere today.

👮Two youths arrested, who were being charged with breaking in and might get a slap on the wrist.

🔑I was at the caravan by myself and have never felt unsafe there so please do not be alarmed. Be vigilant, keep the doors locked when you are out. Security are always on hand if you see something unusual. Their number is on our welcome letter.

🌄Aside from that the weather was lovely, the caravan is sparkling and I can't wait until little Noah can start enjoying holidays at the carvan.

Damage to the hall wall in Bay View, £400 to repair due to location of socket and radiator.

💷 and some people think the £100 deposit is too much!

😡Found by cleaner, no message, nothing!

Update - guest as agreed to pay for damage 💷
