All have full central heating and are fitted out and furnished to a high specification with many antiques. Many of our properties have private outdoor hot tubs and all have private use of our indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. You can simply unwind in the comfort of your own rental property or use it as a base for days out in the Derbyshire Peak District to visit the historic towns of Bakewell and Buxton, great houses like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, the moors of Kinder Scout or the limestone dales such as Lathkill Dale and Dovedale. The Hall is situated in a lovely country setting, surrounded by fields and with excellent walking from the door. There is a small childrens' playground within the grounds of the Hall. We accept dogs and other pets (additional charges apply). Harthill Hall was founded in the 13th century and is a Grade II listed building. The Manor House is the main house of Harthill Hall, constructed in the 16th century and complete with stone flagged floors, oak beams, ancient carved oak doors, etc. Our other properties are sympathetic conversions of the outbuildings - including the Chapel, which was the original 14th century building on the site.

🎃 Pumpkin picking season is almost here! Let’s squash the options!

It’s been a bit of a mixed bag for Peak District pumpkin patches this year. Litton Lanterns isn’t opening for 2026 due to the poor growing season, while Pumpkin Corner in Ashbourne has closed for good... 😢

But there are still some gourd-geous ways to get your autumn pumpkin fix. We’ve rounded up what’s happening across the Peak District this Halloween season.

👇🎃 READ THE FULL GUIDE 🎃👇

Just to clarify: Peak District Kids focuses on the Peak District National Park and places just across its boundary, so this guide doesn’t cover pumpkin patches further afield in places such as Sheffield or Derby. 💚

You don’t have to wait until you’re overwhelmed, in pain, or completely burned out to take care of yourself.

Massage doesn’t have to be something you “earn” after doing enough, working enough, or pushing through enough.

It can be part of how you support your body before it reaches empty.

Consider this your reminder: care counts, even when you’re not at your breaking point.
