Litton are delighted to announce we are a main sponsor of , a fundraising event to help raise awareness of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy ( ), a neurodegenerative disorder that has no known cause or cure. Thousands of individuals in the UK are suffering from this awful disease. It affects brain cells that control balance, walking, coordination, eye movement, speech, swallowing, and thinking.
Our MD, Mark Twelves, will be taking part in the 100 mile along The Two Roses Way between Lancashire and Yorkshire in support of close family friend Lindsay Coney who was diagnosed with PSP in November 2021. Lindsay’s husband Andrew Coney is a Chartered Surveyor in Preston, Lancashire.
Mark’s Mother-in-Law, Sue Lightfoot also suffered from PSP and it is therefore a cause that is close to his and his wife Nicky’s hearts. You can read more on our website: https://www.littonproperties.co.uk/news/walkforlindsay/
Litton are making a significant donation and the Litton team will be raising further awareness and funds for PSPA (https://www.pspassociation.org.uk/) through some smaller fundraising activities which include pledges and some of the team joining Mark on one of the days to walk a stretch of the route.
We are looking to our friends and business contacts for support and donations, by offering Litton a pledge or making a donation directly to the Walk for Lindsay Just Giving page.
