(Digger Driver,Machine Operator)

Due to Retirement and workload a position to operate our high spec JCB 3CX excavator has arisen.
Experience in general construction works would be preferred.

The machine is out on full time hire at the moment locally. You will aslo be needed to work within the business on the sites. Depending on work you could also be asked to operate our 4CX machine mini digger and also hired in track diggers.

You the driver will be responsible for keeping the machine in good condition and presenting tidy on a weekly basis.

Good rates of pay with van travel provided.
CPCS cards are required but not essential.

Not been the best start to the year weather wise which has hindered us slightly for outside work, but with no sign of improvement we had to make a start on the big farmhouse at Mill Of Boyndie.

The guys have been busy this week dismantling the old roof which is no longer fit for purpose to make ready for the new trusses. The original wall plate wasn't in great condition so we have also removed and replaced with new,hunched and beded down in place with lime mortar.
Also all topside window lentils that were wooden and had rotten away with age have also been replaced with new concrete for strength support.

Hopefully next week we will have the new roof trusses up and a start made fitting the sarking.

Remember we still have houses remaining for sale new in..

We would like to thank all the staff,sub contractors and customers old and new for another years work together.We have now closed and stopped for Christmas/New Year.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2026 and are back to work on 5th of January and will continue to push ahead with all the projects on the go.

Being able to drive and operate site forklift/loadalls would be preferred.

Latest new build we are doing for a customer. 🏡
This new home will be ground floor 3 bed with all usual spec requirements nestled away in the rural countryside.

Today we took delivery of the roof trusses and made a start to getting them up onto the roof, shame the weather has taken a turn for the worst just makes the job for the guys more unpleasant to be out working in.🌧☔️
