Delighted to attend the SERC Construction Competition as a judge in my role as Regional President of the Federation of Master Builders.
I was genuinely impressed by both the standard of the entries and the talent, professionalism and enthusiasm shown by the students across all teams. A real credit to everyone involved and encouraging to see such strong future talent coming through the construction industry. Well done to all who took part.

Level 3 Construction and Civil Engineering students from SERC Bangor and Lisburn impressed judges in a construction design competition, held recently in SERC Lisburn Campus.

A week in the life of a building contractor. We were engaged to carry out a roof replacement in Bangor. Admittedly weather and logistics were all kind to us and the client and her neighbours pleased that any inconvenience was not prolonged. We attended the NHBC Beyond ’26 Live Show in Cookstown earlier this week. This included a very informative visit to the Keystone Factory followed by interactive demonstrations and discussion of the future of housing and infrastructure hosted by Jamie Delargy featuring Chief Planner Officers, NI Water CEO Sara Venning and DfI Minister Liz Kimmins.
