Meet the Giraffe Room. 🦒✨

Every bedroom at The Belmont Barmouth has its own personality — but this one is definitely hard to forget.

Giraffe-pattern wallpaper, soft pink walls, the original fireplace, that beautiful bay window… and, of course, the two gold giraffes keeping watch from the mantel. 🦒

It's playful, a little unexpected and very Belmont.

And with 9 individually styled bedrooms sleeping up to 18, choosing who gets which room can become part of the holiday.

Would you claim the Giraffe Room — or would someone in your group beat you to it? 👇

🥂 What if the best part of your celebration wasn’t where you went… but having everyone you love under one roof?

A big birthday. An anniversary. A family reunion. Or simply one of those rare weekends when you manage to get everyone together in the same place. ❤️

At The Belmont Barmouth, up to 18 of you can have the whole beachfront house to yourselves.

🏡 9 individually styled bedrooms
🌊 Barmouth Beach right across the road
🍽️ A dining room where all 18 can eat together
🎬 Your own cinema room
🎱 Games room for the competitive ones
🛋️ A beautiful sea-view lounge for catching up
🥂 Space for long dinners, lazy mornings and late-night conversations
🐾 And the dogs can come too!

Because the best celebrations aren’t always about doing something extravagant.

Sometimes they’re about having the time and space to disconnect from everything else and reconnect with the people who matter. ✨

One house. One weekend. Everyone together.

If you could gather your favourite people at The Belmont for one celebration, what would you be celebrating? 👇🥂

🌊 Why do guests love The Belmont Barmouth — and come back year after year?

We think it’s because a stay here is about much more than somewhere to sleep. ❤️

🌊 The location
Right opposite Barmouth Beach, with the sea, town, cafés, shops and everything you love about Barmouth just moments away.

🛋️ The space to be together
A beautiful lounge overlooking the beach, with plenty of room to sit, talk, laugh and properly catch up.

🎱 The fun bits
Our games room and cinema room mean there’s plenty to do when everyone comes back from a day exploring — whatever the Welsh weather decides to do! 🎬

🥂 And the table everyone can fit around
From slow, relaxed breakfasts in pyjamas to birthday dinners, anniversaries and big family celebrations — some of the best moments happen right here.

But perhaps the real reason people return is simpler…

It’s having everyone you love together, under one roof, by the sea. 💚

If you’ve stayed at The Belmont, what was your favourite part? 👇

🏆 Well… we already knew Barmouth was pretty special. Now it’s official. 😉🌊

Barmouth has been named the best seaside town in Wales for its independent scene — and ranked among the top 10 in the whole of the UK! 🎉

And here’s the bit we LOVE…

☕ 100% of its cafés are independent
🍻 100% of its pubs are independent
🛍️ A high street packed with independent shops
🐟 And apparently one of the UK’s best fish & chip shops too!

No endless rows of the same chains you could find anywhere.

Instead, Barmouth has proper little cafés, pubs, shops and businesses with their own character — many run by local people who make the town what it is. ❤️

It’s one of the reasons staying at The Belmont Barmouth works so well.

Step out of the front door, leave the car behind and wander into town. Coffee, breakfast, shopping, lunch, a drink at the pub… and the beach is right there too. 🌊

So we need to know…

👇 What’s YOUR favourite independent Barmouth business?

Tag them below — let’s give our brilliant local businesses some love. ❤️

🏡 What does a house for 18 actually look like?

It looks like everyone around the same table. 🍽️

It looks like grandparents, parents, children and friends all under one roof.

🌊 The beach directly opposite
🛏️ 9 bedrooms across 4 guest floors
🎬 A private cinema room
🎱 Games room for the competitive ones
🍷 A kitchen and dining space made for big gatherings
🐾 And yes… the dogs can come too

But actually, none of those are our favourite part.

It’s what happens when everyone arrives.

Cars get parked. Bags get dropped. Phones get forgotten about. Someone opens the wine. The kids disappear to the games room. And suddenly everyone has something we never seem to have enough of…

time together. ❤️

That’s what The Belmont was created for.

Disconnect to reconnect. 🌊

If you could fill The Belmont with 18 of your favourite people, who’s coming with you? 👇

🏄‍♀️ Who knew one afternoon could create so many memories? 💙

One minute you’re a little nervous… the next you’re gliding across the stunning Mawddach Estuary surrounded by mountains, boats and some of the most beautiful scenery in North Wales. 🌊⛰️

The best part? You don’t need any experience.

Our friends at SUP Barmouth provide all the equipment, expert instruction and guide you throughout the session, making it perfect for families, couples, friends and groups looking to try something different.

Even better… it’s only around 5 minutes’ walk from The Belmont. 🚶‍♀️

Would you give paddleboarding a go… or are you staying safely on the beach? 😄👇

🌊 Tag someone you’d take with you!

🌊 Does anyone else feel this when they arrive in Barmouth?

It’s like the world suddenly gets… quieter.

Phones get checked less. 📱
Conversations get longer. 💬
The sea replaces the soundtrack of everyday life. 🌊

Days are spent exploring, paddleboarding, walking the beach, finding hidden corners and making memories together.

Then everyone heads back to The Belmont…

🏡 One table.
🎱 One games room.
🎬 One movie night.
❤️ One place to reconnect.

Sometimes the best holidays aren’t about doing more.

They’re about remembering what matters most.

Who would you escape to Barmouth with? 👇

✨ Some of the best family holidays aren’t about where you go…

They’re about moments like these. ❤️

🌅 Watching the sunset together.
🏖️ Walking barefoot along the beach.
😂 Three generations making memories.
💙 Time that somehow passes far too quickly.

That’s what we love about Barmouth.

The Belmont is just a few minutes from the beach, making it easy to spend less time driving… and more time together.

What’s one family holiday memory you’ll never forget? 👇❤️
