Like most things this year we’re playing catch up and same goes for posts on social media. I’m ever so grateful for the clients I have who through no fault of their own have had to wait for some time due to the major over run of our high profile full home renovation we’ve been working on. So, many thanks to Alex and Adam from Wombwell for being so patient and waiting for us. We recently completed new Oak doors, new bedroom plastering and decoration amongst giving them a real eye opening refresh of their garden. Extremely tired was an understatement, as well as being a complete bog of a garden. We brightened the whole place up with artificial grass and cleaner lines with Patio. They now have a super space for their 18 month old superstar Ben to play in. Many thanks from all at Floyd Property Development 🙏🏽🔻

New door to install and some finishing touches to put right but the toughest challenge yet is coming to a close. My design head is really coming on, which I never thought possible. We were given a picture by our client Lizzie and she said can you create me this. We had a problem toilet on a macerator and needed to get a mains drain feed within the floor which was a real challenge, we need to block up a doorway to give them the biggest possible shower space. My client Lizzie and Rob have been so patient and understanding that has made this project a real pleasure to work on. We have taken all the time possible to make sure it is right for them and it’s completely polar opposite to what they had. My sincerest thanks to my team bringing this all together and my sincerest thanks to Rob and Lizzie English for allowing us to create a wonderful En-suite for them to enjoy, which wouldn’t look out of place on Game of Thrones So happy for you guys

Next Project: We’ve been given this colossal En-suite bathroom, and we have the task of turning it into a whole new world of bath-rooming. The real challenge behind this project is to give them a toilet no longer on a macerator and with a proper drainage system. Being at the front of the property and in the middle this is one we have to seriously figure out, and we’re well on our way to doing so. I have a top top plumbing team on board which always makes life easy. Thanks to Rob and Lizzie English for allowing us into your home. Can’t wait to see the finished result 🔻

Well it’s been a while since I swung more than 1 or 2 doors in a go, regular ones at that, let alone 12 oak beasts............, and my pop up gazebo came in really handy in the rain today. Thanks to the Eaglestone family from New Farnley, Leeds for letting me loose on your home again 🙏🏽 🔻 Next up for them, Staircase renovations and decorations.

A wonderful opportunity at the weekend and also phased works carried out last year, which was really unexpected considering my life in Shopfitting last year I thought may have come to a close. Definitely wasn’t sure I expected to be involved in shop fitting any time soon but I have and it was great - Thanks to my Brothers partner Olivia Ellis for allowing us to to be part of and bring together your already established Hair Salon, along with everyone else you’ve had involved. My latest client wanted to look at what could be done to revitalise their kitchen without going to the extent of spending big money on a brand new kitchen. We had a brainstorm meeting and decided to come up with introducing New Fresher lighter flooring, lighter worktops and up-stands. We also decided to replace the sink & tap and put it more central opposite handed rather than the poor decision of where it was previously installed all still keeping the cabinet layout. Plus we freshened up with lighter plinths, smart fresher silicone works, a new Rad cover and of course all new decoration works. All for a quarter/5th of the price of a brand new kitchen. Let us give you ideas for cost effective ways to freshen up your home without the need for spending big bucks. The art of being professional at all times in managing client expectations and requirements. We have an incredibly busy few months ahead. From the supply and installation of a super new Centre Floor solid surface island and Bi-Folding doors to this truly wonderful property in Holmfirth to a challenging full home renovations project in Notton. The latter of which will have a seriously big team of guys turning around tonnes of work inside 4 weeks. No pressure but we’ll be seriously giving Nick Knowles and his DIY SOS team a run for their money. All this amongst many other little projects along the way. From a really poor use of space as an open sink and shower area within a main Bedroom to a bespoke sliding double wardrobe set. Also an open alcove area to another bespoke wardrobe set. Nice little start to a Monday morning, we have an order to build a Back Garden Boozer for Summer 2021!! Obviously not an inflatable one, as that would be too easy but it’s full garden building which is pretty cool!! The 2021 project planner is getting pretty full 1st and 2nd Quarters, which is nice🔻
