REMOVALS PORTERS WANTED – SILKSTONE VAN MAN

I’m looking for reliable helpers for removals work, ideally with availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You’ll need to be physically fit, strong and comfortable lifting and carrying heavy furniture, including up and down stairs. Being careful with customers’ belongings and having a friendly attitude are just as important.

• Casual work as and when jobs are booked.
• Jobs can range from 1 hour to 12 hours.
• Sometimes available at very short notice.
• No obligation to accept a job if it doesn’t suit you.
• Payment can be made in cash.

If you’re interested, message the page or WhatsApp me with your location, availability and any removals experience.

2 jobs, 2 locations… and a special guest called Billy! 🐶

Job 1 takes us to Wakefield for a modular sofa move.

Then it’s over to beautiful Holmfirth for Job 2, moving contents from storage into a stunning apartment — where we also meet the customer’s dog, Billy, today’s removal supervisor!

🚐 Two completely different removal jobs
⏱️ Guess the total time
🔥 Guess the calories burned
🐶 And keep an eye out for Billy!

Not a bad location to finish the day either…

Spotted this amongst a customer’s belongings on a recent move and immediately found myself doing my best Jon impression from .

For anyone who doesn’t know them, True Blue Travellers has become part of my favourite Saturday morning routine — if I’m lucky enough to get a Saturday morning off!

First coffee of the day ☕, feet up, and the latest video from Jon & Jess on YouTube. Perfect start to the weekend.

Keep the videos coming, Jon & Jess!

🏡 Another beautiful house move completed earlier this week for a wonderful customer! 🚚

We had the pleasure of helping move from this stunning property, and we’re incredibly grateful for the hospitality shown throughout the day. Plenty of drinks, snacks, and a warm welcome kept the team going from start to finish.

Thank you for choosing Silkstone Van Man – we wish you all the very best in your new home! 😊
